Community activities:
Roger's House
Roly Hein, CEO and president of R.E.Hein Construction was actively involved in the building of Roger's House, a palliative care home for children in Ottawa. Together with many in the Ottawa Construction industry, Rogers House became a reality in 2006. The former mayor of Ottawa Bob Chiarelli, the premier of Ontario Dalton McGuinty and the Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk, were present at the official opening of Roger' s House last spring.
Pictured below at the official opening of Roger's House are some the Ottawa Contsruction leaders who donated time and/or materials to the project.
Pictured left to right: Chad Schella from the Senators Foundation, Victor Deveau, Johannes Ziebarth, Glen Morley, Eugene Melnyk owner of the Senators hockey team, Ken Hoppner, Roly Hein and Richard Gratton.
